For my proposal, I would like to create an animated AR activated mural. This piece will have a focus of connectivity. Using one of my ghoul girl forest characters, I will be painting her inky hair throughout the mural along with outline of hands and stars within her hair trying to connect. I will also be animating this piece. Using the Artivive app, this piece will become AR activated. Someone can scan the mural with their phone and see the piece come to life through animation. This piece is important to me because I feel that there are so many things that bring us together as a community and i want her hair to represent the universe making those connections. Us gathering in one place to connect over our love for art and spooky things is what ties this piece to Salem and the Mural Festival.
