Eight Acorns is nature-inspired terrarium accessories and home decor items, featuring preserved botanicals and herbarium collected from all around the world. All pieces are meticulously created solely from my home studio, currently based in Sharon, MA. With my work I try to bottle up the filing of that long-awaited Spring and beauty of a blooming meadow. I want to recreate a walk in the woods or beach, a trip to the garden or your favorite nature spot. The combination of earthy gemstones, raw metals and real plant material help me to create unique pieces perfect for a modern bohemian girl. All flora I use undergoes a special preservation process, then gets encased in the highest quality jewelry-grade acrylic, followed by sanding and polishing each piece by hand. It’s a long labor-intense process, but it ensures flowers keep their fragile beauty for a lifetime. I have many years of experience in casting and creating truly quality pieces with unique designs is something I’m very passionate about!
