The Salem Arts Festival gallery is open to the public on June 3-5, 2022 as part of the festival.

The following is the timeline for the jury process:

 

Art Drop OffOld Town Hall, 32 Derby Square – UPSTAIRS

  • Saturday, May 28, 5 pm to 7 pm
  • Sunday, May 29, 10 am to 12 pm

Notification of Acceptance: Sunday, May 29, mid to late afternoon – via email
Works Not Accepted MUST be picked up at Old Town Hall:

  • Sunday, May 29, 4:30 pm to 6 pm
  • Tuesday, May 31, 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Exhibit Dates: Work chosen for exhibition will be kept over the week and will be on display June 3-5, 2022 during the festival. Gallery awards will be announced at the reception on Friday night, around 8 pm.

Pick Up Date for Accepted Work – Gallery pieces MUST be picked up at Old Town Hall at the end of the festival on Sunday, June 5, 5 pm to 7 pm.

The submission fee is $10 per piece or $25 for 3 pieces. We will accept cash or checks payable to Salem Main Streets.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces. At least 2 pieces must be for sale. If any work is sold, it will not be removed from the gallery show until the show is closed. The Salem Arts Festival (a Salem Main Streets/Creative Collective project) will take 20% of sales to cover costs of the festival.
