My proposed mural, Creature Collage – After Humans, focuses on energy, color, and abundance. These three descriptors are a part of my Creature Collage series, and also capture the atmosphere of the Salem Arts Festival. While the subtext of the piece could be considered macabre (what life could look like after humans are gone), the aim is to make people stop, look over all the characters, and hopefully walk away with a smile.
